How long have you been in business?
Internet Server Connections, Inc. has been in business since 1996. This is pretty much since the early days of the Internet.
What is your primary product or service?
- Customized hosting, including physical collocation in our server room, located in White Plains.
- Company Email services and management.
- Internet Security, Secure Communication between sites, Secure Backups, etc.
- Multifactor and Multimodal Biometric Access Control (RecoMadeEasy(R) Access Control)
- Electronic Commerce systems

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The owners of the company have 30 and 20 years of experience (respectively) in computer technologies (holding a PhD and Masters in engineering respectively from Columbia University), with many years of experience in research and development.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We provide truly customized solutions. Boiler plate services may be obtained from anyone, however, specialized services which match the exact need of the client are not so easy to meet. There are many companies that have mushroomed in the last couple of decades which have learned how to handle repetitive tasks and they do that. However, as soon as the problem becomes in any way special, they will not be able to help. We create all solutions in house, using sophisticated programming techniques and hardware design.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our main office is in White Plains with locations in Yorktown Heights and recently the Katonah area. Our servers are hosted from White Plains.

What type of payments do you accept?
Most of clients pay us using company or personal checks, but we also accept major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
Since we can do remote services, there is no limit to our service area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
A husband and wife team. We have owned the company since 1996 and run all the daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
We are generally at the White Plains office on weekdays between 10AM and 6PM, but the nature of our work is such that most of our services are done electronically or through the telephone.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
One client called us the most erudite and respectful vendor she had dealt with.
